At-Risk Children Training Program (ARC-P)

Program Overview

The At-Risk Children Programme (ARC-P) was designed to address and reduce the vulnerability of At-Risk Children by providing them with a life of dignity and increased individual and national productivity, as well as security, by providing intensive basic numeracy and literacy skills, digital skills and creativity, sports and life skills, agricultural, vocations, and entrepreneurship, in a way that positively impacts their lives as children and adults.As the implementing partner, Wootlab Foundation provided training on the Digital Creativity Skills component of the ARC-P Youth Facilitator training, with a faculty of seasoned trainers to deliver value and pedagog expertise for participants to impart knowledge to the primary beneficiaries. The ARC-P Digital Creativity Skills component is an alternative approach to providing insights into the potential of non-formal, community-based initiatives to provide a "second chance" education to out of-school children by providing an accelerated curriculum for the delivery of basic education and practical skills to improve livelihoods.
